What is Vaulta?
Network transition
Vaulta's token swap opened on 14 May 2025. The transition preserved the existing chain, account balances and application state. The new A token uses the same four-decimal precision as EOS. Its maximum supply is 2.1 billion. Supply allocations and vesting schedules continued through the rebrand. The core.vaulta contract handles the native token and swap. EOS-to-A swaps remain available through the official portal.
Execution and governance
Vaulta uses Antelope technology for smart-contract applications. Contracts are developed with C++ tooling and execute through WebAssembly. Token-holder votes select 21 active block producers under delegated proof of stake. The network's Savanna consensus provides approximately one-second transaction finality. Blocks are produced at half-second intervals. A supports network resources, governance and staking. The staking programme uses a 21-day lockup. Named accounts and configurable permissions provide an alternative to address-only wallet identities. Vaulta's application focus includes payments, tokenized assets and financial infrastructure.
