What is Rei?
Reasoning technology
Rei Labs develops Core, a reasoning system with persistent state. An instance retains concepts, constraints, examples and unresolved candidates across queries. New observations can reinforce useful structures or revise earlier conclusions. Core exposes the reasoning formation alongside its answer. Adapt-1 provides an API for creating and querying instances. Rei Chat offers a conversational interface to the same underlying system.
Token design
The project's token documentation specifies a total supply of one billion REI. Its distribution assigns 54% to the public donation event and 30% to Base liquidity. Another 8% is allocated to additional liquidity. Research grants and partnerships receive 3%, while the team allocation is 5%. The team schedule uses a six-month cliff followed by six months of linear vesting. The documentation assigns REI an SDK and API access role, with user-deployed agents described as a future capability.
