Gas and emissions
XAI pays network gas fees, which are burned. The combined maximum supply of XAI and escrowed esXAI is 2.5 billion. esXAI is nontransferable. Conversions between the two forms burn one and issue the other. Sentry Key rewards use esXAI emissions. Their rate falls when combined supply crosses defined thresholds. Burning can move supply below a threshold and increase emissions again. The published allocation directs 85% of these emissions to Sentry Keys. The remaining 15% supports a gas-subsidy node for player transactions.
