What is ADAMANT Messenger?
Overview
ADAMANT provides encrypted messaging built on blockchain technology, offering security and privacy guarantees unavailable through traditional or centralized messaging platforms. Users can send messages, store and transfer cryptocurrencies within the chat interface while maintaining full control of private keys. The network operates as open-source software run by its community rather than by any single developer or organization, making accounts resistant to control, blocking, or censorship.
How it works
ADAMANT operates on its own blockchain using a Fair Delegated Proof-of-Stake consensus mechanism. Messages and transactions are recorded on the distributed network, ensuring persistence and transparency while maintaining user privacy through encryption.
Token and supply
ADM serves as the utility token supporting messenger operations and transaction fees. The token has a maximum supply of 200 million ADM, with approximately 114.6 million in total supply. ADM also functions as a two-factor authentication mechanism and facilitates in-chat cryptocurrency transfers.
Team and history
ADAMANT launched on September 3, 2017. Early development was undertaken by ADAMANT TECH LABS LP, an Ireland-registered entity, though the project is now maintained and operated by its decentralized community.
