What is AscendEx?
Overview
AscendEx is a centralized digital asset exchange platform that uses its native token to enable transactions and interactions among platform participants. The token functions as the primary medium of exchange and settlement on the platform. Users can earn tokens through a trading mining model based on their trading volume activity.
How it works
ASD is deployed as an ERC-20 token on the Ethereum blockchain. The token operates as a utility asset within the AscendEx ecosystem, enabling payments and settlement between users who trade on the platform.
Token and supply
ASD serves as a non-refundable functional utility token used for transactions and as an economic incentive for ecosystem participation. The total supply is approximately 743 million tokens. Users acquire ASD either through the trading mining program—which rewards active traders based on volume—or by purchasing it directly on the exchange through trading pairs such as ASD/BTC and ASD/USDT.
Team and history
AscendEx launched on November 10, 2018. The project is included in the Alameda Research portfolio.
