What is Elexium?
Trading and liquidity
Elexium routes token swaps through liquidity pools. Liquidity providers supply the assets used for those trades. They receive trading fees and EX emissions. Swap routing can use multiple pools to complete a trade. The exchange's incentive model links token issuance to liquidity provision.
Locks and voting
Users lock EX into positions represented by Elexium NFTs. Those positions support voting over which pools receive emissions. Protocols and other participants can offer additional incentives for votes. Lockers receive half the trading fees from pools they vote for under the published model. The system also includes rebase rewards intended to reduce dilution for lockers. EX's role is to direct exchange incentives and participate in fee distribution. Alephium's native asset handles the underlying network's transaction charges.
