What is JupUSD?
Collateral and issuance
JupUSD targets one US dollar per token. Its published reserve dashboard identifies USDtb and USDC as backing assets. USDtb provides exposure to institutional dollar reserves, including BlackRock's BUIDL fund. Jupiter publishes the reserve-wallet addresses and collateral composition. Minting and redemption are handled by onchain programs with authorized operational roles.
Jupiter integration
JupUSD can be transferred between Solana wallets and exchanged in supported liquidity pools. It is designed for use across Jupiter's financial products. Reserve-derived revenue supports the broader Jupiter ecosystem. Simply holding JupUSD is separate from depositing it into a yield-generating application. Jupiter Lend and other integrations determine their own depositor returns. The issuance program checks collateral prices and applies transaction limits. Its controls include quotas, configurable fees and pause functions. A separate peg-stability program provides stablecoin exchange routes through pool accounts. Supply expands or contracts through these issuance and redemption flows. Solana supplies the underlying token-transfer infrastructure.
