What is Mellion Coin?
Overview
Mellion Coin powers BitNest's suite of decentralized finance services, including on-chain savings protocols, lending and borrowing systems, cross-chain settlement, and community governance. The token bridges digital finance with real-world payment and custody applications. Users interact with MEC through staking, collateral provision, and participation in the BitNest DAO.
How it works
MEC operates as a BEP20 token on BNB Smart Chain. Within BitNest, users stake or deposit MEC in savings vaults to earn algorithmic yields, pledge it as collateral for loans, and use it for transactions across the Lease platform and cross-chain bridge. Governance holders vote on proposals and reward distribution through the DAO.
Token and supply
Maximum supply is fixed at 300 million tokens. Token allocation: 45% for liquidity provider mining, 35% for DAO node sales, 10% for ecosystem airdrops, 6.5% for gradual team release, and 3.5% for development and partnerships. MEC incorporates a deflationary model in which 30% of quarterly profits from the MIX Chain are allocated to repurchase and permanently burn tokens from the market.
