What is QuStream?
Overview
QuStream addresses security vulnerabilities in existing blockchains by implementing quantum-resistant encryption. The network uses a dynamic private key system where a new cryptographically linked key is generated for each transaction, eliminating risks from static key exposure. The platform targets financial institutions, cryptocurrency exchanges, enterprises, and government entities requiring long-term data protection.
How it works
QuStream operates as a Layer 1 blockchain using Proof-of-Stake consensus with decentralized validator nodes that distribute dynamic private keys while maintaining privacy. The network employs sharded infrastructure to achieve high transaction throughput without sacrificing decentralization. The token was initially launched on Solana and is scheduled for 1:1 migration to the native QuStream mainnet.
Token and supply
QST functions as the network's core utility token for transaction processing, validator staking, and governance participation. Maximum supply is capped at 1 billion tokens. Total supply is approximately 1 billion tokens.
Team and history
QuStream was founded by Adrian Neal, a blockchain security expert specializing in cryptography and cybersecurity.
