What is Router Protocol?
Overview
Router Protocol is an open and permissionless network designed to enable liquidity movement across different blockchains. It solves fragmentation by connecting bridges, decentralized exchanges, and liquidity networks into a unified routing layer. Users and builders benefit from faster execution, better pricing across trade sizes, and simplified cross-chain interactions.
How it works
The protocol operates on the Open Graph Architecture (OGA), which aggregates available liquidity sources and splits orders across them to ensure optimal pricing. ROUTE tokens are deployed on Ethereum, Polygon, and Osmosis, enabling interoperability across these networks. The routing layer connects multiple liquidity networks and bridges to facilitate efficient onchain execution.
Token and supply
ROUTE is the protocol's governance and utility token. Maximum supply is fixed at approximately 982 million tokens. The token is deployed across Ethereum, Polygon, and Osmosis to support cross-chain functionality.
