What is TRUST?
Overview
TRUST solves the problem of proving authorization in workflows where approvals, certifications, or regulated decisions have downstream consequences. Blockchains natively record executions and transfers but cannot independently confirm that the person performing an action held the correct role when it occurred. The protocol answers two questions: whether a role is valid now and whether it was valid when a specific action happened. This distinction matters for audit trails, dispute resolution, and replay scenarios.
How it works
TRUST is deployed on Hedera Hashgraph. The protocol distinguishes between current role validity and historical role validity, supporting both live workflows and retrospective verification. It records not just actions but the authorization state at the moment each action took place.
