What is Trust Wallet?

Wallet and launch

Trust Wallet introduced TWT in 2020 through community distributions. It did not conduct a public fundraising sale for the token. TWT operates as a BEP-20 asset on BNB Smart Chain. Its token contract has a permanently fixed issuance without a minting path for additional supply. A major 2020 burn reduced the original token allocation.

Product benefits

Trust Premium connects token locking with access to product tiers. Users also earn experience points through supported wallet activities such as swaps, deposits and check-ins. The resulting tier determines eligibility for the corresponding benefits. The token's broader utility plan includes fee reductions, service access and ecosystem campaigns. Individual benefits follow the wallet's published program terms rather than a universal token payout.

Community participation

TWT supports community proposals and participation in selected product initiatives. Some community voting uses one address per vote rather than simple token-weighted control. These mechanisms do not give holders ownership of Trust Wallet or binding control over the company. TWT also does not represent a contractual share of business revenue. Transactions on BNB Smart Chain require the network's gas asset, BNB.
