Network design
Endurance uses Proof of Staked Authority. Authorized validators stake ACE to participate in block production. The amount delegated to validator candidates influences selection of the active set. Other holders can delegate ACE and share block rewards. Double signing and node instability can lead to slashing. An unbonding period applies when stake is withdrawn. Solidity smart contracts run in its EVM execution environment.
ACE and governance
The published token allocation totals 147 million ACE. ACE pays transaction charges on Endurance. It is also used in the ecosystem's games and related services. Validator staking links the asset to network security. Onchain governance manages parameters including validator participation and penalties. The architecture includes dedicated contracts for staking, governance and runtime upgrades. Ecosystem allocations support developers and projects building on the chain. Ingame assets and NFTs remain separate from the ACE balance used for network transactions.
