What is deBridge?
Protocol
deBridge was co-founded by Alex Smirnov. Its infrastructure connects applications and liquidity across different chains. Users specify an input asset on one chain and a required output on another. Solvers fill these orders using their own balances on the destination chain. Once fulfilment is verified, the solver can claim the corresponding source-chain assets. This design avoids a central pool of liquidity deposited by bridge liquidity providers.
Developer infrastructure
The deBridge Liquidity Network supports both market and limit orders. An order remains unfilled if no solver accepts its economics. Protocol validators process the messages used to unlock settlement. APIs and an embeddable widget expose these flows to wallets and applications. Hooks allow a destination transaction to include additional actions such as a contract call.
DBR distribution
DBR launched on Solana in October 2024 with a total supply of 10 billion tokens. Allocations include community distribution, ecosystem development and the deBridge Foundation. The token is intended to support progressive community governance over upgrades, treasury allocation and network policy. DAO staking is described in the official support material as an upcoming governance mechanism. The protocol's current transfer service can be used without holding DBR.
