What is GoMining Token?
Bitcoin mining platform
GoMining connects digital miners with operated Bitcoin mining equipment. Each digital miner specifies an allocated hashrate and energy-efficiency profile. The underlying machines perform Bitcoin mining rather than mining GOMINING tokens. Owners receive the relevant Bitcoin rewards after applicable operating charges. Platform products also include miner upgrades, a marketplace and the Miner Wars game.
Payments and locking
GOMINING pays digital-miner maintenance fees and supported marketplace purchases. Paying maintenance in the token can qualify for a discount of up to 20%. Holders can lock tokens to receive veGOMINING voting power. These votes influence reward allocation and the burn-and-mint mechanism. Locking also provides eligibility for the associated weekly rewards.
Supply mechanics
Maintenance payments accumulate for weekly burn-and-mint cycles. The protocol burns the collected tokens before creating the permitted replacement amount. The epoch settings and governance vote determine how much is reminted. Minting fewer replacements produces a net supply reduction. New tokens are distributed among service providers, vote holders, ecosystem rewards and the team. The published long-term supply target is one hundred million tokens, rather than a fixed promise about the date that level will be reached.
