What is Seeker?
Mobile ecosystem
Solana Mobile introduced SKR for its Seeker phone and broader application ecosystem. The token launch was scheduled for January 21, 2026. An initial distribution allocated nearly two billion SKR to users and developers. Seeker user allocations were linked to device activation and ecosystem participation during Season 1. The token runs on Solana. It connects hardware users, application builders and platform operators through a shared incentive system.
Guardians and staking
Holders can delegate unlocked SKR to Guardians and earn rewards. The Guardian model covers device verification and curation of the Solana dApp Store. Solana Mobile operates the first Guardian during the bootstrap phase. Third-party Guardian participation is part of the network's decentralization plan. Its TEEPIN architecture uses trusted execution environments to generate device-state proofs. These checks cover device identity, boot status and software authenticity. Staking epochs last two days, with unstaking available after an epoch.
Supply schedule
The initial supply is 10 billion SKR. The published first-year inflation is 10%. The inflation rate declines by 25% annually until reaching a 2% terminal rate. Team and Solana Labs allocations each have a 12-month cliff followed by 36 months of linear vesting. Community treasury and growth allocations support ecosystem development. The initial supply is therefore not a permanent maximum.
