What is Unitas?
Yield infrastructure
Unitas manages a basket of delta-neutral strategies. Spot holdings are paired with derivatives hedges to limit directional exposure. Trading activity, funding payments and protocol fees contribute to revenue. USDu is its dollar-pegged asset. Depositing USDu creates the yield-bearing savings token sUSDu.
UP's role
UP is intended to coordinate ecosystem incentives and future governance. Unipay Labs currently makes protocol decisions. UP-based governance has not yet launched. The planned framework may cover strategy integrations, risk parameters and incentive programs. A proposed sUP locking mechanism is also under development.
Supply and vesting
The published supply is one billion UP. Ecosystem and community programs receive 45%, while liquidity and exchange programs receive 18%. Investors receive 22%, and the team and advisers receive 15%. The initial circulating allocation was 12.6%. Team and investor allocations have a twelve-month cliff followed by twenty-four months of linear vesting. Holding UP currently carries no entitlement to protocol revenue distributions.
