What is Onyxcoin?
Token and governance
XCN remains an ERC-20 token on Ethereum. Holders can participate in the Onyx DAO's proposal process. Governance controls treasury spending and ecosystem allocations. Staking and contributor incentives are governed within that framework. The treasury can fund grants, infrastructure, audits and integrated-market liquidity. Bridged XCN representations connect the canonical token with supported networks. The project's documentation identifies Base and BNB Chain among those environments.
Supply and network design
The declared maximum allocation is 68,892,071,757 XCN. Burns have reduced the outstanding amount below that original ceiling. Transaction-fee mechanisms and governance-approved burns are part of the published economy. Tokens distributed from existing allocations should be distinguished from an increase in the maximum issuance. Onyx's current whitepaper describes an EVM-compatible network governed by XCN holders. Its network design links validator influence to staked or delegated XCN. The architecture includes programmable contracts, asset services and distributed storage. XCN's governance role on Ethereum is separate from the network functions described in that design.
