What is Achain?
Overview
Achain provides infrastructure for developers of all skill levels to create blockchain systems and decentralized applications. The platform targets information exchange and value transactions across a global blockchain network. It differentiates itself through its custom consensus mechanism and the ability for users to easily create Achain forks.
How it works
Achain operates as a proof-of-stake blockchain using Result-delegated Proof of Stake (RDPoS), a modified version of DPoS. Coin holders vote for validator nodes that produce subsequent blocks. The protocol prioritizes interoperability and accessibility for mainstream adoption.
Token and supply
ACT is the native asset of the Achain blockchain. Total supply is 1 billion tokens with no maximum supply listed. The token functions within the network's consensus and transaction framework.
Team and history
Achain launched on July 22, 2017. The project is led by CEO Tony Cui, whose achievements include a Future Star award from the Zhongguancun Alliance and recognition in CYZONE's 30 under 30 list. The team of approximately 51 employees is primarily based in Beijing.
