What is Adshares?

Advertising infrastructure

Adshares connects advertisers, publishers and independently operated ad servers. ADS settles advertising payments within that network. Its blockchain uses delegated proof of stake. The protocol is designed for high volumes of small transactions. Publishers can receive payments for displaying advertisements. The ecosystem also supports advertising in virtual environments.

Coin and fees

The supply is approximately 38.76 million ADS. The published network model does not allow further minting. Native transaction fees are paid in ADS. Part of those fees goes to node operators. Another portion is redistributed through liquid-staking cycles. Eligible native accounts must hold ADS and meet the activity requirements. These redistribution cycles run every 2,048 blocks. The ad-server model also sends 1% of advertising turnover to a designated burner address. Wrapped ADS representations are available on other chains. Wrapped holdings do not participate in the native liquid-staking mechanism.
