What is Agent Wormhole?
Overview
Agent Wormhole addresses a specific vulnerability in AI systems that execute financial transactions: malicious instructions embedded in text (token metadata, web content, or agent communications) can manipulate an agent's behavior. It combines token launch scanning with cryptographic attestations, configuration file protection, and payment verification to reduce attack surface.
How it works
The system operates on Robinhood Chain and comprises several components: a launch layer that scans token creation events and issues signed attestations tied to the token's exact metadata bytes; wormhole-guard, an open-source command-line tool that secures AI agent configuration files against tampering; and an x402 payment guard that verifies transaction parameters (recipient, amount, token, chain) against a merchant's quote before signing occurs.
Token and supply
WORM has a maximum supply of 1 billion tokens. The token facilitates micropayments within the protection layer; revenue from these payments funds token buybacks and burns. Total supply is approximately 962.4 million tokens.
