What is Agoras: Tau Net?
Logic as the network foundation
Tau Net develops software that uses formal logic to express user requirements. The project links this work to collective discussion and agreement. Its whitepaper was written by Ohad Asor. The proposed economy would trade knowledge and computational resources. Agoras is intended to provide its exchange unit. These functions describe the network's intended design. They should not be read as established services of the existing placeholder token.
The present token and future rules
The published initial token supply is 42 million. AGRS currently follows Ethereum's ERC-20 format. The project anticipates a swap when its mainnet token becomes available. Its proposed tokenomics could adapt through user agreement. Consequently, the initial supply statement does not establish immutable rules for a future chain. Programmable governance belongs to that planned system. Current AGRS ownership does not itself activate the whitepaper's knowledge market. Mainnet deployment and migration require separate implementation.
