What is Ankr Network?
Developer infrastructure
Applications connect to supported blockchains through Ankr’s RPC endpoints. These interfaces retrieve chain state and submit transactions. Advanced APIs add indexed information such as token balances. Ankr also supplies node snapshots and infrastructure tools for application chains. Independent node providers participate alongside Ankr-operated resources. They serve application requests on the relevant host blockchains.
Staking and issuance
Providers commit ANKR as collateral for their participation. Token holders can delegate ANKR to support particular providers. Delegators share rewards earned by the selected provider. This staking arrangement backs full-node services rather than selecting validators for a separate ANKR blockchain. The original issuance comprised ten billion tokens. ANKR has no built-in inflation schedule. Its documented distribution began with 40% released and 60% scheduled over three years. The original unlock schedule ran through August 2022. Rewards and operating demand connect the token with network use.
