What is Arcium?
Confidential execution
Arcium divides sensitive inputs into secret shares distributed across compute nodes. Nodes jointly perform calculations without each node receiving the complete plaintext input. Applications use the Arcis programming framework to define confidential computation. Multiparty execution environments connect these calculations to onchain programs. Arcium's initial infrastructure is integrated with Solana.
Supply and staking
ARX has a fixed supply of one billion tokens. The tokenomics exclude inflation and discretionary new issuance. Compute operators and recovery nodes stake ARX as collateral for participation. Stake requirements depend on the capacity of the cluster. Operator admission also involves the cluster's authority and operating requirements.
Fees and governance
Computation fees are denominated in the underlying chain's native asset, such as SOL. The published model assigns fee shares to compute operators, recovery nodes and the treasury. Delegated staking can participate in operator economics under the relevant commission rules. Technical and community governance are separate tracks in the token roadmap. Investor and contributor allocations unlock through vesting rather than entering circulation together.
