What is AUGUR?
Overview
Augur operates a prediction market protocol where participants stake value on potential outcomes of future events. Following a 2025 revival, development now includes both a new prediction market system and Augur Lituus, a generalized oracle infrastructure for other applications.
How it works
The protocol runs on Ethereum and combines prediction markets with oracle resolution. Participants trade on event outcomes, and the system uses staked incentives to cryptoeconomically determine accurate results without relying on centralized authorities to resolve markets.
Token and supply
