What is Auxite Reserve?
Overview
AUXR is a reserve instrument designed to provide blockchain-based access to precious metals. The token's value is anchored to the net asset value of an equal-weight basket of gold, silver, platinum, and palladium. Metal positions are maintained through derivatives and unallocated positions with a regulated metals broker, hedged 1:1 to the basket composition. The instrument is issued by Aurum Ledger Limited, a company registered in Hong Kong.
How it works
AUXR is deployed on Base as an ERC-20 token using 18 decimals. Rather than representing claims on specific allocated bars, the token functions as a paper-hedged instrument settled in cash at net asset value. This structure eliminates per-trade physical settlement costs and allows the instrument to scale with exchange liquidity.
Token and supply
AUXR has a total supply of approximately 26 thousand tokens with no maximum supply cap. The token is traded against USDT and used as a medium for gaining exposure to the underlying precious metals basket through a regulated derivative structure.
