What is Avail?
Overview
Avail addresses fragmentation across blockchain ecosystems through two core layers: Avail Nexus, a multichain infrastructure layer enabling apps to access liquidity and users from any chain without bridges or redeployments, and Avail DA, a high-throughput data availability layer ensuring transaction data is verifiable and accessible. Developers use Avail to reduce cross-chain friction and unlock new markets, while rollups and modular chains leverage its technology for efficient scaling without security compromises.
How it works
Avail DA uses KZG polynomial commitments and data availability sampling to verify that transaction data remains accessible and tamper-proof. Avail Nexus functions as an intent engine, routing cross-chain transactions and settling funds on behalf of users and applications across multiple blockchains. Together, these layers provide seamless interoperability and enable the modular, multichain applications they support.
