What is Backed CSPX Core S&P 500?
Exposure and collateral
The product follows CSPX rather than holding a basket of cryptocurrencies. CSPX provides exposure to the S&P 500 equity index. Backed issues a structured security that tracks the ETF's value. A licensed custodian holds the underlying asset on Backed's behalf. Those holdings are pledged as collateral for the product. The token therefore represents the structured product rather than direct registration as an ETF shareholder.
Token and access
bCSPX is issued as a transferable ERC-20 token. Ownership of the token is recorded on a blockchain. Transfers can integrate the product with compatible wallets and applications. The issuer's prospectus and final terms define the holder's financial rights. Direct sales are limited to qualified investors and licensed resellers. US persons and other prohibited jurisdictions are excluded from the offering. The collateral model remains dependent on securities custody and the issuer's legal arrangements. bCSPX has equity-market exposure rather than a fixed dollar redemption value.
