What is Biconomy?
Smart-account infrastructure
Biconomy develops account-abstraction tools for blockchain applications. These tools let developers build programmable accounts and simplify transaction execution. Its Modular Execution Environment combines transactions and intents into coordinated actions. A Supertransaction can describe operations across multiple chains through one user signature. The system handles sequencing and cross-chain coordination. The MEE devnet was introduced in February 2025.
BICO participation
The Biconomy token interface supports staking and delegation of BICO to node operators. Its orchestration network is described as using proof of stake. Delegation connects token participation with the operators that process network activity. The MEE design assigns roles to bundlers, intent solvers and execution validators. Its published security model links delegation with operator capacity. Rewards are shared between operators and delegators under that model. Earlier BICO staking used a safety module for specified shortfall events. That earlier module had its own withdrawal cooldown and receipt tokens. Those historical terms should be distinguished from the current network's staking arrangements.
