What is BIM?

Exchange token

BIM links the exchange platform with its token-holder community. Holders can vote on protocol decisions. Staking is another supported use of the token. Part of exchange revenue funds holder incentives. The documented fee-refund scheme also links trading reductions to BIM holdings.

Governance and incentives

Governance uses the BIM DAO's voting process. Wallet-held and staked BIM can contribute voting power. Community decisions guide protocol development and treasury use. Liquidity providers can supply BIM pairs to earn pool trading fees. These pool fees are separate from the exchange's own incentive programs.

Current token structure

The current contract is deployed on Base. The published supply is limited to 30 million BIM with no further minting capacity. The current allocation assigns 24 million tokens to the DAO treasury. Three million tokens are allocated to the team. Another three million are assigned to holders through the blockchain change.
