What is Bitcoin Pro?
Token design
Bitcoin Pro uses the ERC-20 token model. The published design specifies eight decimal places. Its supply is separate from Bitcoin's native BTC issuance. BTCP does not represent a custodial claim on BTC. It is also distinct from Bitcoin Private, another project that used the same ticker.
Transfers and markets
BTCP transfers take place through Ethereum token transactions. The issuer lists Uniswap as its Ethereum trading venue. Users hold the token in compatible wallets and pay network gas in ETH. The published token settings specify no buy or sell tax. Additional BNB Chain and Polygon representations are presented by the project.
