What is KOGE?
Club and infrastructure
48 Club participates in BNB Smart Chain's validator ecosystem. Its infrastructure includes validation services and transaction-processing tools. KOGE's token documentation describes rights and benefits within the club. The project published its token litepaper in September 2020 before the initial distribution offering. KOGE is implemented as a BEP-20 contract. BNB remains the host network's transaction-fee asset.
DAO participation
Voting power in 48 DAO comes from staked KOGE. Unstaked wallet balances do not supply that voting power. The documented procedure requires seven days after staking before unstaking is available. Withdrawing an unstaked position then requires another seven days. A wallet must hold a 48er NFT to create a proposal. Proposal creation also involves a deposit into its dedicated incentive pool.
Voting incentives
The club periodically supplies KOGE to pools that reward governance participation. Qualifying proposers and voters can receive distributions from those pools. A proposal must meet its quorum for the stated proposer and voter allocation to apply. Voters' shares depend on their voting weight. Governance can change the pool parameters and deposit requirements.
