What is Bucket Shop?
Overview
Bucket Shop enables holders of the Bucket token to receive regular distributions of tokenized stocks and cryptocurrencies without active management. Holders designate their preference for equities, digital assets, or a combination of both, and can adjust these preferences at any time. The protocol has distributed tokenized positions including major stocks and indices to its holder base since its deployment.
How it works
The protocol operates on Robinhood Chain and collects a 3% fee on Bucket/ETH trades. An automated keeper uses these fees to purchase tokenized equities and cryptocurrencies priced from Chainlink oracles, with all distributions executed via smart contracts and recorded on-chain. The project also provides token-bound accounts under the ERC-6551 standard and operates a binary prediction market using the same price feeds.
Token and supply
Bucket has a maximum supply of 1 billion tokens. Token holders must maintain a balance of at least 10 thousand Bucket to receive asset distributions. Supply figures are published through public API endpoints for independent verification. Total supply is approximately 982.4 million tokens.
