What is ChangeNOW?

Token and services

The original issuance totaled 200 million NOW. The project supports token deployments on Ethereum and BNB Chain. NOW can be used within selected ChangeNOW and related service programs. These include cashback and benefits associated with ChangeNOW Pro. The ecosystem also lists NOWPayments and NOWNodes among its utility integrations. Exact benefits depend on the service and its current terms.

Staking and supply

ChangeNOW offers noncustodial staking through an Ethereum smart contract. That model applies a waiting period after the most recent stake before withdrawal. A separate Pro staking option uses a custodial account. Its withdrawal rules differ from the onchain model. Rewards are distributed through the token incentive program. This staking does not validate Ethereum or BNB Chain consensus. ChangeNOW also operates a burn program, so the original issuance should not be treated as the current outstanding supply. The noncustodial waiting period is one week after the last staking deposit.
