What is Chintai?
Tokenisation network
Chintai provides infrastructure for issuing and managing digital securities. CHEX connects that activity with the network's resource model. Issuers maintain tokens to cover platform use. Chintai can manage those resources on a client's behalf. The token also supports liquidity within the ecosystem.
Staking and fees
Network gas fees are paid in CHEX. Stakers receive a share of the relevant platform fees. Issuance-related distributions follow a schedule, while trading-related distributions can be immediate. The published fee model allocates ten percent of Chintai's issuance, trading and account-maintenance fees to staker rewards. Client issuers may also distribute some of their own tokens to CHEX stakers. Such airdrops depend on the issuer and are not a guaranteed token benefit.
Supply
The published allocation is one billion CHEX. Chintai describes the token as fully distributed, with no further scheduled releases. Five percent of generated platform value is assigned to market purchases and permanent burns. Burns remove existing tokens rather than increasing the reward supply. The ecosystem also provides a cross-chain bridge using Chainlink CCIP.
