What is Chirp Token?
Overview
Chirp operates an Internet of Things ecosystem designed to bridge physical devices and blockchain infrastructure. The network enables community participants to run mining nodes that provide connectivity services to IoT devices while earning token rewards. How it works
Chirp runs on the Sui blockchain and operates through two integrated systems: a DePIN layer where community-owned miners deliver IoT connectivity, and an IoT platform providing management tools for devices and their blockchain integration. Participants earn CHIRP tokens by contributing mining capacity to the network.
Token and supply
CHIRP is the native token of the Chirp ecosystem, distributed as rewards to network participants who operate mining infrastructure. Maximum supply is capped at 300 million tokens. Total supply is approximately 140 million tokens.
