What is COTI?
Privacy technology
COTI's gcEVM uses garbled circuits and secure multiparty computation. Developers can work with encrypted inputs, stored values and intermediate computations. Private data types mirror familiar Solidity data types. Contract libraries include privacy-enhanced fungible tokens and NFTs. Private-token balances remain encrypted in contract storage. Account onboarding establishes the keys needed to interact with this privacy layer.
Network and applications
COTI pays gas for transactions and smart-contract operations on the Layer 2. The mainnet uses chain ID 2632500. Its privacy framework lets applications define permissions for revealing and processing information. MetaMask integration uses a Snap to display and handle private-token balances. Developers can combine private operations with ordinary Ethereum-compatible contract logic. The network includes treasury and node infrastructure for ecosystem participation. gCOTI is a separate deployed token associated with governance.
