What is Creditcoin?
Credit and applications
Creditcoin provides blockchain infrastructure for recording loans and credit histories. Gluwa is its technology provider. The Credal system lets lenders record and verify real loan activity on-chain. In August 2026, the project reported that its enterprise partners had migrated to Creditcoin's EVM chain. That migration brought their existing loan records and API integrations onto the newer network.
Network functions
Creditcoin combines Substrate-based network functions with an Ethereum-compatible execution environment. Native CTC pays transaction fees and supports staking and validator participation. Its EVM form pays for smart-contract execution. The Attestcoin protocol lets applications verify transaction data from supported external chains. Independent attestors and cryptographic proofs support those cross-chain reads.
Token forms and supply
The Ethereum ERC-20 CTC token is also called G-CRE. Its stated maximum supply is 600 million tokens. Native mainnet CTC has a separate, uncapped issuance model following the network's proof-of-stake transition. Swap CTC provides a one-way conversion route from G-CRE to mainnet CTC. WCTC represents wrapped native CTC on external networks and is a different token from G-CRE. The supply limits and staking roles must therefore be read for the specific CTC form.
