What is CRONUS?
Overview
CRONUS serves as the community token for cro.trade, an integrated trading application on Cronos. The platform combines spot trading, a token launchpad, perpetual futures, and prediction markets accessible via iOS, Android, and web. The same routing engine also powers a Telegram-based trading bot.
How it works
CRONUS operates on the Cronos blockchain and provides access to unified trading functionality through a single balance across all cro.trade features. Users can trade any token listed on Cronos, launch projects through the launchpad, engage in derivatives trading, and participate in prediction markets from a single application.
Token and supply
CRONUS has a fixed maximum supply of 1 billion tokens with no new issuance or inflation. The token is actively deflated through a buyback and burn mechanism: revenue generated by cro.trade is used to purchase CRONUS from the market and remove it from circulation.
