What is Crown BRLV?
Issuer and reserve model
Crown provides infrastructure for banks, fintechs and other financial services. BRLV's reserves consist of Brazilian federal government bonds. The bonds are held with regulated financial institutions. Crown states that reserves are legally separated from its operating assets. A third-party security agent represents tokenholders' interests in that collateral. The issuer publishes reserve and issuance information. Third-party attestations verify the backing on business days.
Settlement and rewards
Users can fund supported accounts through Pix or bank transfers. Crown also accepts USDC and USDT from supported international workflows. Balances can be converted into BRLV for transfers and settlement. Eligible users can convert BRLV back into reais or supported dollar stablecoins. The published redemption target is one real per BRLV. Qualifying wallets can participate in Crown's rewards program. These rewards are redeemable for BRLV or reais under the program's conditions. They are separate from the stablecoin's one-real denomination.
