What is Cysic?
Compute economy
The network targets workloads including zero-knowledge proving and AI inference. Providers reserve or stake CYS to participate in computing tasks. Task allocation considers both stake and performance. Hardware contributors can earn rewards for supplying resources and executing workloads. The model supports GPU, ASIC and other specialized operators.
Governance and distribution
The published total allocation is one billion CYS. Holders stake CYS to obtain the separate Cysic Governance Token, CGT. CGT supports voting on upgrades and economic parameters. It also supports validator elections and community-fund decisions. Token allocations cover ecosystem incentives, investors, contributors, foundation reserves and community liquidity. Investor tokens follow a one-year cliff and subsequent vesting. Contributor and foundation allocations use their own longer vesting periods. Locked allocations cannot be staked before they vest. CYS therefore connects resource participation and incentives with a separate governance representation.
