What is DeGate?
Product transition
DeGate originally developed an Ethereum Layer 2 order-book exchange. It used a ZK-rollup based on Loopring technology. The exchange's mainnet launched in February 2024. A wallet-based product followed in December 2024. The standalone exchange was discontinued in June 2025. The wallet became the project's sole product. DG remains identified as the Ethereum token of the original protocol's governance.
Current wallet
The current wallet supports seventeen mainnet blockchains. It combines assets into a unified balance for sending and swapping. Cross-chain swaps use solver-based routing. Simple Earn connects users with DeFi yield products. Turbo Range provides concentrated-liquidity positions. Tokenized equities and other supported assets can be accessed through the wallet. Users retain custody of their keys. The current wallet is a separate product generation from the discontinued rollup and order-book system.
