What is DeXe?
DAO infrastructure
DeXe lets communities configure proposals, voting and treasury operations through smart contracts. Its system supports delegation to expert participants. Delegated tokens remain owned by the delegator while locked in the delegation contract. Recalling tokens can cancel their contribution to an active delegated vote. Individual DAOs can choose their own governance assets. Using DeXe infrastructure therefore does not require every organization to adopt DEXE as its voting token.
Token and treasury
DEXE holders govern DeXe Protocol DAO's treasury and development decisions. The asset has ERC-20 and BEP-20 representations. Approved treasury spending can fund research, grants and ecosystem work. Some protocol functions charge fees that flow to the DAO treasury. Voting, proposal creation and transaction execution can qualify for configured rewards. Those payments depend on accepted proposals and the organization's reward settings. A treasury can distribute rewards in its governance token or another asset it holds. Nonlinear voting and delegation rules aim to balance expertise with broad participation. DEXE ownership provides protocol governance rather than a validator position on an independent chain.
