What is DOLA Borrowing Right?
Overview
DOLA Borrowing Rights (DBR) is a DeFi primitive introduced by Inverse Finance that enables fixed-rate borrowing of DOLA stablecoins. The token solves the problem of unpredictable interest rates in traditional variable-rate lending while removing constraints typical of fixed-rate DeFi markets. DBR holders gain certainty on loan costs and optionality from holding the borrowing right itself.
How it works
DBR operates within Inverse Finance's FiRM protocol, which implements a novel market architecture called Personal Collateral Escrows. Users deposit collateral into individual escrows and use DBR to access fixed-rate DOLA loans.
Token and supply
DBR is deployed on Ethereum. The token has no listed maximum supply. Total supply is approximately 36.3 million tokens. DBR grants holders the right to borrow DOLA and serves as the core mechanism enabling Inverse Finance's fixed-rate lending infrastructure.
