What is Dual?
Programmable assets
Dual develops infrastructure for enterprise asset issuance. Its design combines digital credentials, provenance and programmable transfer rules. Assets can carry conditions governing their lifecycle. The project’s Ethereum Layer 2 direction aims to support that execution model. Co-founder and adviser Reeve Collins is associated with the project. The current network rollout includes testnet work and planned mainnet services.
Token conversion and utility
DUAL has a published total allocation of ten billion tokens. The migration framework converts each eligible VEE token into two DUAL. Conversion accounts for 72.92% of the allocation. The foundation receives 17.07%, with ten percent reserved for rewards. Reward distribution is scheduled across five years. The token framework assigns DUAL a role in issuance, certification and transfer fees. Staking is intended to produce an xDUAL participation position. Governance is designed to cover upgrades and fee allocation. Published deployments include Ethereum, Base and Robinhood Chain. The announced staking and fee-routing functions are part of the network rollout rather than an unconditional payment to every holder.
