What is EfficientFrontier?
Trading strategy evaluation
The project was operating by late 2024. Its miners contribute performance records from real exchange trading accounts. SignalPlus connects to centralized exchanges and supplies authenticated account data. Records include balances, trading profit and loss, and drawdowns. Validators check the submitted data and apply a ranking model. The model compares returns with capital drawdowns, giving more weight to recent performance. It also adjusts for portfolio size and excessive margin use. Controls against duplicate strategies and wash trading protect the ranking process.
Subnet participation
EfficientFrontier runs within Bittensor rather than maintaining its own settlement blockchain. Bittensor's Subtensor chain records validator weights and distributes subnet emissions through Yuma Consensus. SN53 follows the subnet-token issuance model, with a maximum supply of 21 million units. Emission declines through supply-based halvings. Holders can stake through the subnet's TAO exchange pool and delegate to validators. Staked positions participate in validator reward distributions. The amount received depends on network emissions, validator performance and delegation fees.
