What is Enosys Loans CDP?
Overview
Enosys Loans allows users to create collateralized debt positions and mint the CDP stablecoin by depositing supported collateral. The protocol targets XRP holders who lack native DeFi access through the XRP Ledger, enabling them to leverage their assets in decentralized finance applications including lending, borrowing, and yield generation. The platform is designed as a fork of Liquity V2, adapted for Flare's infrastructure and planned to support multiple collateral types including FXRP, wrapped FLR, staked XRP, and bridged Bitcoin.
How it works
The protocol operates on the Flare Network and uses the Flare Time Series Oracle (FTSO) for decentralized, tamper-resistant collateral pricing aggregated from independent signal providers. Users deposit collateral to mint CDP stablecoins while maintaining exposure to their underlying assets. Wrapped FLR collateral is automatically delegated to earn delegation rewards and FlareDrops on behalf of the owner.
Peg and backing
The CDP stablecoin is backed by over-collateralized crypto assets locked in the protocol. The peg is maintained through collateral-to-debt ratio mechanics, with the FTSO providing accurate real-time pricing to protect users from volatility. Currently, FXRP and wrapped FLR serve as collateral, with plans to expand to staked XRP and bridged Bitcoin.
