What is EthereumPoW?
Fork and execution
EthereumPoW inherited Ethereum's pre-Merge state. That inheritance included account balances and existing smart-contract code. Its client is maintained as a fork of Go Ethereum. The network continues to support the Ethereum Virtual Machine. Solidity applications can use familiar execution interfaces. Contracts operate against EthereumPoW's own chain state and liquidity.
Mining and currency
Proof-of-Work miners produce blocks on EthereumPoW. ETHW pays the gas charges for transfers and contract calls. New block rewards provide compensation for mining activity. Transaction fees form another part of the mining economy. Users hold the asset through wallets configured for EthereumPoW. Its node infrastructure supplies RPC interfaces for applications and explorers. Assets represented inside inherited contracts depend on their relevant issuers and cross-chain arrangements.
