What is FOLKS?

Lending platform

Folks Finance provides pools for deposits and collateralized borrowing. Pool utilization influences borrowing and deposit rates. Its cross-chain architecture uses a hub-and-spoke design. Messaging layers coordinate activity between supported networks. The platform also provides swapping and bridging interfaces.

Token deployments

FOLKS has a fixed published supply of 50 million tokens. Its multichain deployments use the Native Token Transfers standard. Native deployments include Algorand, Avalanche, Ethereum and several other supported networks. Transfers connect representations of the same token supply. They do not create a separate economic supply for each chain.

Allocation and utility

Community incentives and airdrops receive 35% of the allocation. Ecosystem growth receives 24.73%. Seed supporters receive 21.83%, and strategic supporters receive 4.94%. Core contributors receive 10%, while advisers receive 3.5%. The stated utility plan includes governance, fee discounts and liquidity incentives. Individual features are introduced progressively and may have different availability.
