What is f(x) USD Saving?
Pool mechanics
The underlying pool accepts fxUSD and USDC. It supplies liquidity for rebalancing and liquidations within f(x). Swaps between the two assets support the fxUSD dollar peg. Chainlink prices guide those operations. A USDC depeg triggers suspension of deposits and peg maintenance.
Compounding and withdrawals
Pool income includes fees from leveraged xPOSITIONs and returns on protocol reserves. Supported reserve strategies include Aave lending. fxSAVE converts wstETH and WBTC rewards into additional fxUSD and USDC. These assets increase the value represented by vault shares. Deposits mint shares against the pool position. Supply changes with deposits and redemptions rather than following a fixed issuance cap. Share value depends on the vault's underlying assets and realized returns. Withdrawal routes include immediate redemption and a request followed by a cooldown. A pending request must become claimable before its assets can be collected. Holding fxSAVE therefore represents exposure to the pool, its collateral and withdrawal mechanics.
